Alabama History

Alabama has a lot of history and it dates back all the way back 10,000 years!!! Some of the Native American tribes are; Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choktaw and Creek. Although some of the native American tribes were forced out of their home some of the descendants of the Native Americans still live there . Spanish explorers firs discovered the land in the 1500s. Alabama was ruled at diffrent times first England then France and finally Spain. But finally it was signed to the Uniited States. Along with what now is Mississippi. In the 1950s and 60s Alabama was in the middle of the Civil Rights movement. Where Rosa Parks refused to give her seat up to a white man.
